No Man’s Heart is Here!

If you guys weren’t aware, my third book, No Man’s Heart, Book One of the Anomaly Rising series, is finally out. It is such a bittersweet moment where I find myself both happy and a bit sad. I am joyous because it’s always a wave of euphoria and relief when I finally finish the journey of a story. Holding a book that I wrote. That I cried, smiled, and spent sleepless over is like holding a child. I think, “I did this. This is mine. I birthed this story. These characters. I’m its father.”

Is that strange? Maybe. Do I care? Not really. But with happiness also comes sadness because now that No Man’s Heart is out, I have to let it go. I have to let the world see it and let anyone who wonders form their own opinions about it. It’s hard watching your baby fly away. It shakes me to my core the thought that someone could hurt my child or say gruesome things about this masterful piece I birthed.

And I think there, in the journey of happiness and sadness, love and hate, and progressing and quitting, is where the importance of completing a novel comes into play. It shows the world, but more importantly, you, and your characters, that you can do it. That you love them. Enough rambling though. No Man’s Heart is here. Go read it.
